Jay #1
After hearing everybody pronounce all their vowels like r's for two
days, I boarded an all-night bus back to London. At a rest stop, or
"service center", in the middle of nowhere, I suddenly heard a normal
voice. I had forgotten that American accents existed. This was Jay
from New York, who had been travelling through the Scottish highlands.
When we got back to London, we had breakfast at this cafe.
