Then they went back downtown and chanted in choir-response, "Do we go
to Labor Temple? DO WE GO TO LABOR TEMPLE? Do we stay here and get
arrested? DO WE STAY HERE AND GET ARRESTED? Or do we go home? OR DO
WE GO HOME?" Most of the protesters had already gone home by that
point. There's a big difference between the afternoon crowd and the
evening crowd. The afternoon crowd is much more political and focuses
on trade, the environment and anti-corporatism. The evening crowd is
much more anti-police, and trade seems almost forgotten.
